Tax credit for physical, artistic and cultural activities

The Association québécoise du loisir municipal recently commented on two items in the Quebec government’s 2013-2014 budget likely to affect the organization’s area of interest, recreation at the municipal level.

Among other measures, the new budget introduces a tax credit for parents who enroll their children (5 to 16 years old) in physical, artistic or cultural activities and increases the budget of the province’s Sports and Physical Activity Development Fund.
